Majority of of water treatment products that you need to add to your hot tub / spa are highly concentrated. You should never mix chemicals; some chemicals, when mixed, can cause poisonous gases or even explosion. Before adding any water treatment products, read the instructions on the container.

Stabilised Chlorine granules can be sprinkled directly into the water. Majority of other products need to be pre-dissolved in a plastic bucket / container with water from the hot tub / spa. Always add chemicals to water, not water to chemicals. Always rinse items after use.

Only when the contenets have fully dissolved should they be added to your hot tub / spa. Never add more than one treatment product at the same time. Where possible, ensure the water is being circulated when you add the products to hot tub / spa. Wait at least 15 minutes after adding products before you re-test the water.

Always shower before using your hot tub / spa. By doing so, you will reduce the amount of sanitiser needed to maintain good water quality.
